Three Spiders Compete in 2012 World Mountain Running Championships in Italy

in Ponte di Legno, Italy

Richmond Trio Represents Team USA At Junior Worlds


Jordan Chavez (right) placed 17th to lead
the U.S. Jr Men's team to a 6th place team finish
and Spider teammate Billy Fayette placed 39th
to roundout the U.S. team scoring.

Richmond's Fayette, Moretz and Chavez selected to 2012 U.S. Team

Three Richmond Spider Track & Field and Cross Country athletes have been selected for the 2012 USATF Jr Mountain Running Team and will compete in Italy on September 3.  Below is a release from the department of sports information detailing their selection:
