Spiders 2011 Preseason Cross Country Camp (DAY 2-Arrive Lexington)

Day 2 started in Richmond with a short run before we headed to Lexington...The Blue Ridge Mountains were calling our team.

After we arrived and settled at our hotel our men's and women's teams ran on the Chessie Trail. The trail is an old railroad line from Lexington to Buena Vista turned into a running/biking trail for the community.

The Chessie Trail begins in Lexington and parallels the Maury River.

The road headed to Goshen Pass...where we were going to go swimming after the run but an overnight downpour left the Maury River flooded and too muddy to swim.
